NEW HOPE RESIDENT SHEEP

Our wonderful flock of sheep are an exceptionally friendly bunch, people are often surprised just how friendly they are. Some came to us as ex pets, a couple were orphans that we had to hand rear and others were saved from a trip to the slaughterhouse. One girl, Maggie, came to us having been found hanging by her hind leg on the farmers fence. Sadly when she came  to us her leg had to be amputated, but luckily that injury was her saving grace as the farmer agreed for her to be taken and given to a sanctuary.
